Sis. Mary Mirandona extends her thanks to the family of God at Shirley Assembly for all the prayers, cards, and well-wishes during her recent illness. Knee surgery is scheduled for July 2^nd.  Please continue in prayer that all goes well. 

 

Young At Heart Seniors Ministry (50+)

 

On Thursday, June 12th, we will be visiting Sag Harbor to walk around, see the sights, and enjoy some lunch together.  We will be leaving the church parking lot at 10:00am.  See Sis. Rosemarie Mackay for details.

 

Vacation Bible School

 

VBS is scheduled for the week of July 7 through 11.  There will be a few meetings leading up to that week scheduled for June 12, 19, 26, and July 3rd.  Time for the meetings will be announced in the near future.  If you have signed on as staff for VBS, it is important that you make these meetings.  Please speak with Sis. Lisa Shaw if you would like to join the staff of teachers, helpers and workers for this exciting week of children’s ministry.

 

Teen Camp

 

Teen camp is scheduled for July 14th-18th.  All forms are due in by July 1st.  Please see Pastor Benson for forms, cost, and any additional information.

 

Kids Camp

 

Kids Camp will take place from July 28th through August 1st. The cost per child is $175.00. and includes a camp T-shirt and all activities and meals for the week. See Sis. Lisa Shaw for more information.  

 

Women’s Ministry

 

If you would like to attend the 2008 Conference, please make a deposit of $35.00 as soon as possible, and give it to Mary Mirandona, or place your check or cash in a blue offering envelope and designate it for “2008 WM Conference.”  If you are paying by check, make it payable to Shirley Assembly and note in the memo section “2008 WM Conference.”  There are six reservations remaining.

 

Marriage Retreat

Lost & Found

 

Our Lost & Found is growing.  We have jewelry and car keys piling up!  If you’ve ever lost a piece of jewelry or a car key that you thought you might have misplaced at home or lost somewhere else, please give us a call and see if we have it here at church.

 

Tape & CD Ministry

 

When ordering a disc or tape of a service, please pay at the time of your order so we can process it and have the copy ready for your pickup by the next service.  If you have ordered tapes or CD’s of services, please pick them up at the sound room.
