Our Vision Statement

The leadership of Shirley Assembly has developed a vision statement which will help us all in our everyday work for the Lord in the church. The philosophy is to have a statement which includes the five purposes of the church as defined in scripture. With a well defined vision statement we can measure all of our ministries to see if they fulfill our vision.

The Assembly of God of Shirley is empowered by the Holy Spirit to;
Glorify God,
Proclaim the Gospel Message,
Motivate others to trust in and live for Jesus,
Encourage Christ-centered relationships,
Equip the individual to serve

Welcome to the Assembly of God of Shirley website.  If you are searching for the meaning of life or have any unanswered spiritual questions, you have  come to the right place.  Shirley Assembly invites you to attend one of our many services or classes to discover the true purpose of life.  We are a Bible-believing, Pentecostal church.  Our congregation is made up of people from all walks of life and age groups who have been changed by experiencing a new life with Jesus Christ.  So if you are looking for a new church home or just desiring to visit us, we welcome you.
